Parent Zone / NCA-CEOP
Annual Conferences 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019
Digital Families is an annual conference curated by Parent Zone and NCA-CEOP (a command of the National Crime Agency). The event brings together teachers, family professionals, local authorities and other practitioners to help stay ahead of key issues in a digital, connected world.
I was responsible for the design of digital and print assets working with the project manager, editorial team, venue liaisons, and third-party printers. The design process below describes the stages of preparing for the conference in October 2018.
Design Process

1. Designed logos and branding – aligned with Parent Zone and NCA-CEOP colour palettes.

2. Created marketing assets for website and social media including speaker profiles, brochures and promo videos.

3. Liaised with the venue for technical specifications of signage to be designed including a stage banner and digital monitors placed throughout the venue.

4. Sourced suppliers for additional printed materials such as pop up banners, tote bags and branded pens.

5. In the weeks leading up to the conference date, finalised print designs and liaised with printers to produce the quantities (x500) in time.

6. Created welcome and transition slides for the main hall screen, combining them with speakers' slides, and sent them to the venue team.

7.  On the day of the event, communicated timings with venue AV team and troubleshooted digital issues.
